WordPress 2.5 Preview Video
If you’re like me, you’ve been anxiously anticipating the release of WordPress 2.5 for a while now. Back in December, WordPress decided to skip version 2.4 in favor of a major release tentatively scheduled for March 10th of this year.
Well, March 10th came and went and WordPress 2.5 still hasn’t been released — although the final release is MUCH closer. In fact, the WordPress development team just posted Release Candidate 2 earlier today.
Given the fact that this is a major system upgrade it’s commendable that the WordPress team is putting so much effort into testing and user feedback. It’s more important to get an upgrade like this right than it is to rush it out just to meet some arbitrary deadline.
I’ve created a (not so) brief video walking through the new WordPress administrative interface and describing a few of the many new features. If you’re planning on upgrading when the final version is released, you’ll definitely want to spend a few minutes watching this video.
