After making a database called demo and installing wordpress my website gave a database error instead of the welcome screen. I did some research and there are 3 ways to fill in your database in wp-config.php (depending on your host). The 2nd one worked for me.. 1) define('DB_NAME', 'demo'); 2) define('DB_NAME', 'yourwebsite_com_-_demo'); 3) define('DB_NAME', 'username_-_demo'); -Johan Great vids, thanx!

After making a database called demo and installing wordpress my website gave a database error instead of the welcome screen. I did some research and there are 3 ways to fill in your database in wp-config.php (depending on your host). The 2nd one worked for me..

1) define(‘DB_NAME’, ‘demo’);
2) define(‘DB_NAME’, ‘yourwebsite_com_-_demo’);
3) define(‘DB_NAME’, ‘username_-_demo’);
